Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former employee in a manufacturing plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone started second grade at just five. She was considered as being academically gifted. She earned a high school certificate from Saegertown located in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in 1975. A winner of Miss Crawford County, she took part in the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone was moved to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to take on a job as an actress. Within a month, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. The next stage was Europe where she spent one year residing with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned by the model industry in Europe but decided to focus on acting instead. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" in the year 20. The film was met with mixed reactions.
